What to Expect When You Come In

When you bring something in to the shop that you have decided to have custom framed, hopefully your specific desires for the piece are the final result. And, there are ways that we can work together to guarantee that! This can be a give and take, interactive process to pin down exactly what you’re expecting. In addition, a good picture framer offers some advice as to how to best make your ideas happen.

We start with the fun and exciting part: the design. What colors do you want to focus on? What is the style you want to keep with or attain? What’s your overall vision for the piece? Do you know the room where you’ll hang it? If so, what is that room like? Who’s it for? The questions can go on and on, but they all are meant to get us to where we should go- Presenting the art in the best way possible! You can be as creative and involved as you want to be...or rely fully on us. It’s all good! From there the necessary materials are ordered or gathered together and Faustina’s sets to work giving your selection the custom treatment. All the while, keeping your unique vision and wants at the forefront. This usually takes anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.

Then comes the best part- It’s now finished and you get to hang it and enjoy it in your home!
